Description

These are the first Neolithic shell mounds ever found in an inland district on the Korean Peninsula. They yielded the oldest known boat in the country and a mesh bag displaying the knitting skills of the Neolithic people, as well as a large-scale acorn storage facility, all of which are important relics for the study of Neolithic civilization on the peninsula.
