Description
Ulleung Gukhwa is a plant that blooms in September and October. Thyme is a deciduous tree that is low and spreads branches from its trunk. The name ‘Baengnihyang’ means the scent of the flowers is strong enough to spread over a hundred miles. Population of Ulleung Gukhwa and Thymes is located on the hill on the way to Seonginbong Peak. Since the Ulleung Gukhwa and Thymes are rare in Korea, the population is designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
