Description
Kkamakseom Island consists of two islands called Keunkkamakseom (Big Island) and Jageunkkamakseom (Small Island). The Evergreen Forest on Kkamakseom Island grows in all areas of Kkamakseom Island. The forest has many trees such as Machilus, Machi trees and Cork Oaks. Since the Evergreen Forest on Kkamakseom Island provides good living conditions for fish, schools of fish are drawn to its shore; thus, it is designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
