Description
The Evergreen Forest of Maengseon-ri is on a hill located on the shore of Soando Island. It is 300m long and 35m wide, and there are many rare and valuable trees such as Cyathea Cuspidata and Machilus. This forest plays the role of windbreak and provides a good place for ship anchoring. The evergreen forest also has good conditions to induce fish to come to the shore. Therefore, it is designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
