Description
Sanbangsan Mountain is a volcanic mountain as high as 395m above sea level and is situated in the southwestern edge of Jeju-do. Plants of the temperate zone grow abundantly at the highest area of the mountain and there grow rare plants on the rocks. The rock plant site in Sanbangsan Mountain is very valuable for studying rare rock plants. Therefore, it is designated and protected as a Natural Monument.
