Description
Although the lifespan of Rose of Sharon trees is generally around 40-50 years, this tree is well over 100 years old and has an impressive circumference of 146cm, making it the thickest of all surviving Rose of Sharon trees in Korea. It retains the original form of the pure native species. Height: 4.0m Girth at chest level: west branch, 0.43m; center branch, 0.58m; east branch, 0.48m Width of crown: east-west 5.70m, north-south 5.90m Circumference of root: 1.46m Crown base height: 1.6m Age: 110 years old (estimated)
