Description
Osaegyaksu Mineral Water in Osaek-ri, Yangyang wells up through cracks in the bedrock after water is absorbed into the soil and melts sodium and iron. Most of the spring water comes out from the debris layer, but spring water comes from bedrock, making it very rare. This particular spring water has high sodium content, giving it a unique flavor and color. It was first discovered by a monk of Osaekseoksa Temple in 1500, and has been widely appreciated ever since then, so it has great cultural value.
