Description

Made during the Silla Dynasty, these gold earrings were discovered from the number 52 tomb located in Hwango-dong, Gyeongju. These gold earrings, which are 9 cm long, consist of unadorned huge thick ring at the top, oval ring in the middle, and ornament at the bottom. The decoration in the middle is connected in the form of little round rings to which two-tier gold bands are linked using twisted gold thread. A large nib-shaped ornament is attached in the middle of the earring.
