Description
This royal edict, which is the oldest document belonging to the Yangwol Branch of the Gyeongju Yi Clan, was issued to Yi Ji-dae, an ancestor of the clan’s Panyungongpa in 1413 (during the reign of King Taejong of the Joseon Dynasty). It is invaluable as no information about this type of document has ever been found before.
