Description
This royal certificate was issued by King Seonjo of the Joseon Dynasty to Samdo Sugun Tongjesa (Naval Commander of the Three Provinces, i.e. Chungcheon, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang) Yi Sun-sin on July 23, 1597 (the 30th year of the reign of King Seonjo) to exhort him to complete his mission.
