Description
This royal confidential order (No. 7) requiring the mobilization of the nation’s armed forces was issued to Yi Sun-sin, Commander of the Left Jeolla Province Naval Forces and Naval Commander of the Three Provinces (Chungcheon, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang), by King Seonjo on July 23, 1597 (the 30th year of the reign of King Seonjo of the Joseon Dynasty).
