Description
The ancient documents kept at the head house of the Yeonghae Branch of Jaeryeong Yi’s Clan include 403 items of 12 kinds. Specifically, the documents consist of 57 records of property inheritance, 84 family registers, 179 inscriptions, 49 petitions, 15 courtesy papers, 4 examination answer sheets, 3 circulating letters, and 3 official certificates. In addition to these, their own documents such as royal decrees asking a written appointment drafting and construction ceremony document number 500. These are valued as very important materials in understanding Jaeryeong Yi’s Clan.
