Description

This is the 17th volume from a set of Yugasajiron by Xuanzang (a Chinese Buddhist monk; 602-664), Tang Dynasty, of which he translated writings of Maitreya Bodhisattva from India, and edited them into 100 volumes according to the order of Cheonjamun (a thousand basic Chinese letters). It has a different printing format and printing record from a revised one; in the first edition, some letters like 敬 and 竟 have their strokes omitted, which are fully corrected in the revised edition.
