Description

The purpose of this stele is unknown because there is no inscription on it, though the space for an inscription is left on the upper part. It has not been established whether there was ever an inscription or not. The support for the body is usually in the form of a tortoise though it rather looks like a horse. On the top of the stele, nine dragons are engraved in a realistic way with great carving skill. Judging from the style and the structure, this stele is believed to date from the early Goryeo Dynasty.
