Jabi doryang chambeop (Repentance Ritual of the Great Compassion) was used for a Buddhist ceremony wherein people read Buddhist scriptures to repent of their sins. This ceremony is believed to enable people to be blessed and to be freed from pains. As a revised edition, it combines Volumes 7 ~ 10 into one book out of 10 volumes. Measuring 29.3cm long and 17cm wide, it was originally intended to be in the form of a scroll but was published in a woodblock-printed book. According to a record at the end of this book, it was made under the supervision of Monks Suhan and Singyu and supported by a donation from Monk Jeongseo in 1352 (first year of the reign of King Gongmin of the Goryeo Dynasty). Monk Yosim carved the printing woodblocks based on the handwritings by Yeonheo. There are some other printed books similar to this one in other places, but this is the only one with an exact record of its publication period.
