This meticulously proofread version of Jabi-doryang-chambeop (Repentance Ritual of the Great Compassion), Part 3 (Treasure No. 875) contains the Buddhist scriptures that states that a person will be cleared of sin, blessed, and overcome the pain of reincarnation upon receiving a divine response to a prayer to the Buddha through the repentance ritual. The statement at the end of the national treasure 875 about its publication in 1352 (the 1st year of the reign of King Gongmin) indicates that this copy kept at Dalmasa Temple was also printed at the same year. The two books are bound differently, and both lack parts of the complete set of the works, but they are nonetheless regarded as rare and precious Goryeo era materials that have been preserved in their original form. They are also held to be particularly valuable by scholars interested in ancient woodblock printing skills and the history of Buddhist philosophy.
